Terms of service

Last updated: 31 August 2026

These terms cover the use of this website and the services described on it. The detail of any paid engagement is set out in the agreement we sign for that engagement, and that agreement takes precedence over anything here.

1. Acceptance

Using this website means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

2. What we provide

  • Discovery Call. A free, 30-minute recorded conversation about how work moves through your business.
  • Read-Back. Within 48 hours of the call, a written note naming the one opportunity we would tackle first. Free, with no obligation.
  • AI Operations Assessment. A paid diagnostic. A Snapshot intake gathers your tools, team, and volumes, and we walk you through the findings in a 45-minute session within one week of your completed Snapshot.
  • The FollowThru Blueprint. The written deliverable of the Assessment. It is yours to keep whether or not we work together after it.
  • Build and operate work. Scoped separately after the Assessment, in whichever of the three ways of working you choose.

3. The Assessment guarantee

If the AI Operations Assessment does not find at least 5 hours a week of recoverable time in your business, we refund the fee in full. Not a credit, and not a discount on something else. You keep the Blueprint either way.

4. Fees and payment

The Assessment fee is quoted and agreed before any work begins, and is fixed for that engagement. Pricing depends on workflow complexity, how much of the business we map, and how many systems we examine to map it. Build and operate work is quoted separately.

5. Human review

Work that carries risk waits for a person to approve it. Approval rules are agreed before anything runs. Routine admin can run automatically; customer messages, pricing, and commitments wait for approval; anything irreversible is never automated. Where your team holds the approval, the responsibility for that approval is theirs.

6. Your data and what you own

You keep ownership of your business data, your records, and your workflow logic. The Blueprint is yours. Where your team builds the workflow, your team owns what it builds. Handling of your data is covered by the privacy policy.

7. Confidentiality

What you share with us in the course of an engagement stays confidential. We do not name clients publicly without written permission.

8. What we do not promise

We do not guarantee any particular business result beyond the Assessment guarantee stated in section 3. Third-party tools and AI services can change, fail, or be withdrawn by their vendors, and we are not responsible for their availability or for their own terms.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

10. Changes

These terms may change. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date shown above.

11. Governing law

FollowThruOps is operated by a Delaware limited liability company working from Illinois. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute arising from them will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Illinois.
